Joseph Murray has firmly established himself as one of the most important designers of today. He has received many accolades in his career including the the Mort Abelson “New Designer of the Year Award” in 2007. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1982 with a degree in jewelry design, he began by designing for a variety of jewelry manufacturers before launching his own line in 2004. His collection is inspired by his passion and love of nature - gathering ideas from his travels abroad and the natural beauty and colors found within coral reefs, the ocean and beautiful gardens.
