We have been working hard to update our site in plenty of time for the holidays. Be sure the check out all of the new and beautiful pieces that we have added from Jamie Wolf’s collection. Working in 18 kt yellow, white or rose gold, her jewelry has an attention to detail and femininity unlike anyone else we carry. Each piece is truly a work of art, thankfully one that can be worn everyday! We love her diamond accents, hints of blue with aquamarines and the neutrality and elegance of the moonstones she uses!

We haven’t been intentionally hiding Jessica Fields in our boutique, but given how fabulous her jewelry is we decided it was TIME to put her pieces on our website. We love her line – it’s beautiful, artistic, and easy to wear. From her great delicate necklaces in 18 kt gold with small peridot or blue topaz drops to her cluster Etruscan earrings – each will give you a lot color and style in a smaller package. New Things Coming to Citrine!

We just got back from two weeks of jewelry shows at the Javits Center and are so excited about the new pieces that we have purchased! It was impossible to decide on what to carry – there were so many fabulous things to choose from. We are pleased to announce that we are bringing in several new designers this Fall. We will be launching our Fall trunk show season with designer Jamie Wolf, who does amazing, delicate, feminine pieces in 18 kt yellow, white and rose gold. Her pieces are so versatile and her attention to detail is incredible. From Sydney Evans, an LA based designer, we have chosen her beaded bracelets (in every color!) that are adorned with small, pave diamond charms. Meant to be worn alone, or stacked for a great look, these will no doubt be “hot sellers” at Citrine. Last, but certainly not least, we are bringing in Emily & Ashley’s gorgeous collection. Their colorful pieces make a great statement and have fabulous style. We will feature some of the larger and more unique pieces, but will also carry their charm and monogrammed necklaces around the holidays. Come in any time and see what we have in-store! We know you will love it!

We adore Tanya and Marjorie – the two brilliant designers behind Jolie B. Ray Designs – and absolutely love their jewelry! We couldn’t wait to add them to our site so all of you could get a small glimpse of what they are all about. Their style includes jewelry that is made using a textured, 18kt yellow gold (that looks great on anyone). Round cabachon cocktail rings, bangles, stacking rings, and the featured chandelier earrings, are just a few of their pieces. As they create them, and we shoot them, we will add them to the site. We are so excited that Jessica DiRubio is coming to Citrine this Friday and Saturday with all of her beautiful jewelry. Since she was awarded the prestigious “Rising Star” award by the Jewelry Assocation, she has been busy expanding her line to show in Vegas in June. We love her jewelry because it combines simple elegance and striking color in 18k green gold, a much softer color. I have my eye on her amazing moonstone necklace and earrings and Willis loves her gorgeous gold and diamond stacking rings! Hope you all can come in and take a look!

Spring Fever

Sarah and Willis had Spring Fever and took Citrine “on the road”. Our trunk show, hosted by a friend in Philly, was a huge success! What was hot in Philadelphia? AOC Designs by Ann O’Connor. Ann works in 18kt yellow gold and multi-tourmalines. She makes all her necklaces, rings and earrings herself and her attention to detail is a work of art. We also sold a beautiful Lauren Harper necklace …a great statement piece made of 22 kt. gold and black diamonds. ...The next day we set up shop in Manhasset. Stephanie Albertson’s stunning blue topaz earrings and stacking rings were a hit there and many ladies utilized our wish list for upcoming holidays such as MOTHER”S DAY! (Ray Griffiths earrings were a big wish list item) Happy Spring to everyone and make sure you are wearing a touch of color from Citrine!
The Winter JA Show

We just got back from spending two days at the JA Jewelry Show in NYC, and continue to be amazed and awed at the beautiful work that is out there! There are so many talented designers – it is very hard for us to pick and choose which ones to carry. We bought some incredible things for the store – gorgeous gold and colored stone earrings from Lauren Harper, pink amethyst earrings from Ray Griffiths (that are not to be missed) and several more of Arunashi’s earrings, are just a few of the goodies we bought. Keep checking the site because once we receive them we will be adding them to our site – or better yet – stop in the store and see for yourself!

We’ve been busy here at Citrine updating and adding to our website! We now have several things from Nava Zahavi and have added newer pieces by Ann O’Connor and Joseph Murray. Check out how beautiful Ann’s double wrap blue topaz and sapphire necklaces are – and her blue topaz chandelier earrings are “to die for” – particularly for Summer! We continue to be big fans of Joseph Murray – as you will be able to tell from our ever-expanding collection of his. We now feature several his best-selling beaded hoops (in peridot, aquamarine and chalcedony), the famous “Oprah” earrings and many more delicious items. We are thrilled to bring you some pieces from jewelry designer Nava Zahavi. Her beautiful, brilliantly colored stones are all set in 24 kt gold and are real show-stopping pieces. The first one is a beautiful necklace with peruvian chalcedony and rutliated quartz. We will be adding more so check back frequently!

We are so excited about Joseph Murray, who is coming to Citrine for the first time this week! We have been amazed at the overwhelming response to his line of jewelry since we began carrying it last Fall. The three featured pieces on the homepage of our site are just a few examples of his beautiful, brushed 18 kt gold line. For those of you who prefer white, all of his pieces can be made in white or rose gold. Hope to see you this weekend for our pre-Valentine’s day show! Don’t forget – there will be a special Valentine’s treat for everyone who comes in to meet Joseph – big or small there will be something for all!

The new blue zircon earrings from Suzy Landa that we just added to the site are out of this world! The rare, natural, blue/green color is almost the color the water in the Carribean. The diamonds accents are the icing on the cake.

Working with each and everyone of our designers and developing relationships with them has turned out to be one of our favorite aspects of owning a shop. Sarah and I want to thank them all for filling Citrine chock full of beautiful pieces of jewelry for Christmas. There are our more established designers such as Barbara Heinrich, Stephanie Albertson, Suzy Landa, Ann O’Connor, Nava Zahavi, Lauren Harper, Jessica Fields, and Sonya Ooten. There are designers whom we just discovered this year such as Arunashi and Ray Griffiths. Then there are 2 fresh faces that have taken the industry by storm…Joseph Murray and Jessica DiRubio! We look forward to a successful 2008 with them all…They have made shopping in Bronxville at Citrine a real treat! Happy Holidays to all!!

The Holidays are right around the corner and Citrine is celebrating in a big way with Trunk Shows. Trunk Shows are a great way to “Showcase” our talented designers. Last week we hosted Denise Manning from London. It was a huge success. All the “it” girls in London have a Denise necklace…they are long and funky. There is still time to catch our show this weekend with Stephanie Albertson from NYC. What beautiful, sparkling baubles she has brought with her! I am personally in love with her signature “Cocktail” earrings in Blue Topaz and 22K gold. However, if blue is not your color, she has the same earring in White Topaz, Amethyst, Green Amethyst, Citrine, and Fancy Tourmalines! Been extra nice and checking your list twice? Don’t forget to add a rose cut sapphire bangle or an unusual show-stopper necklace! Stephanie’s pieces are truly irresistible!

She is mixing it with the finest hand selected precious stones, and certified non-conflict diamonds. Jessica will be in our store on December 12th for a reception/showing of her line.

How could we have omitted this? Michael Mahoney, owner “extraordinaire” of Hat Head Studios, did the MOST INCREDIBLE job for us in creating and designing our website! He worked very hard for months and months and we could not be happier with the finished product. Not only is Michael easy to work with (and VERY talented), but he had an amazing ablility to take our vision and make it a reality – with some much-needed advice and design suggestions. Thank you Michael!

We are really excited to be launching our new website and have come a long way from the dog field (where the idea of our store was hatched!) We brainstormed for almost two years about the concept of opening a beautiful jewelry boutique like Citrine, and we are thrilled to be celebrating our two-year anniversary (Oct. 28th) at 22 Park Place. What better way to celebrate this milestone than to launch our website?
We want to help simplify your life. Knowing that many of you shop online, we hope that this site will provide you with an easy way to make a great purchase either for yourself, loved one, friend, you name it!
Our real goal is to meet each and every one of you and we are hoping that this site will entice you to come into our boutique (if you live in the area.) Since it is in its infant stage we have only put a small selection of our designers on it. In addition to the those featured here we carry Joseph Murray, Emma Villedrouin, Jessica Fields, Barbara Heinrich, and Nava Zahavi. We also have several designers whose pieces make great gifts – also soon to be featured.
